Yes! Teeth are often neglected from young and when we get older. It's important that your child learns the importance of their teeth and regular dental visits from young. This means they will be less scared the day they visit a dental practice and will foster stronger dental habits reducing the risk of decay or gum disease as they grow older.

Children should begin seeing a dentist as soon as they have teeth, which is usually around 6-12 months or by the time they reach 12 months of age. A dental check up doesn't just involve teeth though, we look at your child's jaw growth and breathing as well as the soft tissues around the mouth to give holistic care.

Our service consists of a dental presentation for the children attending the centre where we talk about the importance of our teeth, brushing, healthy eating and visiting the dentist with toys and props to engage the children

We also provide dental treatment with prior informed consent from parents including a comprehensive dental examination and preventative treatments including a dental clean, preventative fluoride application and fissure sealants.

There are no cost to the centre for the dental presentation and check-ups

Many children are eligible for the Child Dental Benefits Schedule (CDBS), meaning no out-of-pocket costs for them.

For ineligible children, we offer discounted treatment. We believe all children should have access to dental care that’s why we offer a special rate of $30 for a comprehensive check-up. As we grow as a business our goal is to bring this to $0 to ensure all children can receive adequate care.

If you have private health insurance with dental cover, you can use the invoice we provide after treatment to claim a rebate (subject to your policy)

We understand that centres are busy caring for children and we have streamlined the sign up process by eliminating the centre as a middleman as much as possible. Your centre will receive a unique booking link. Parents will use this link and fill out all details. We will rely on centres to distribute this link and remind busy parents about their upcoming dental visit.

On the day, we will set up in a quiet area away from the children that you designate and we ask that we have a supporting staff to ensure we are seeing the correct children.

We will provide parents with full clinical findings and appointment notes within one business day of payment being received. If a child requires additional treatment, we will include tailored recommendations in our notes.

We will supply your child's centre with posters to display and reminders for their next visit. We will also organise a date for your next visit immediately or contact you again in 6 months for a routine visit.

If a child refuses treatment, we will inform parents/guardians, and no payment will be required. If a child misses their appointment due to unforeseen circumstances, we may schedule another visit, depending on the number of children requiring care.

We strive to visit all confirmed centres regardless of the amount of children who we will be seeing. If you inform us that your centre has/had low interest we will coordinate your visit so that we will visit multiple centres in your area to combat this.
